Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Sabee platform (website, parent and admin mobile applications), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please stop using our services.
2. Service Description
Sabee is a digital platform for educational organizations in Kazakhstan, including mobile apps for parents, teachers, and administrators, Sabee Admin, finance, analytics, incidents, meals, schedules, messaging, support, and management tools.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials, actions under your account, and promptly removing staff who should no longer have access. Using the platform for fraudulent, unlawful, or unrelated purposes is prohibited.
4. Privacy
Sabee processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Kazakhstan legislation. The organization must have lawful grounds for providing child, parent, employee and other personal data, including required consents from individuals or their legal representatives. Sabee remains responsible for its own processing obligations, platform safeguards, selection of external providers and applicable arrangements for cross-border processing. Each party must cooperate in handling data-rights requests and security incidents. The Privacy Policy describes local storage and external processing separately.
5. Organization and Staff Responsibility
The organization manages its users, roles and permissions, maintains accurate records, and promptly revokes access that is no longer authorized. To the extent permitted by law, Sabee is not responsible for unauthorized disclosures caused solely by a organization user’s misuse, negligence or incorrect access configuration. This does not exclude Sabee’s responsibility to the extent that its own breach of legal or contractual obligations contributed to a disclosure.
6. User Content
Users are responsible for text, photos, videos, incidents, messages, files, and finance data they upload. Illegal, excessive, offensive, inaccurate, or unrelated content is prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
Sabee retains its rights in the platform software, trademarks, interface, documentation and other Sabee-created materials, subject to any third-party rights. Users and organizations retain ownership or other applicable rights in uploaded photos, videos, reports, messages and other content. They grant Sabee only the rights necessary to host, process, transmit and display that content to provide the service, including enabled AI features subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable authorization requirements. Uploading content does not transfer ownership to Sabee or authorize unrelated use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sabee is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or reputational harm, or losses arising solely from inaccurate information entered by users, misuse by authorized organization users, or interruptions outside Sabee’s reasonable control. This clause does not exclude Sabee’s own applicable legal or contractual responsibilities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Kazakhstan legislation.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. AI features: Sabee AI and Director Brief
Sabee AI, Director Brief and AI spreadsheet imports are optional features subject to service availability, authorization and user permissions. They may retrieve relevant records within the requesting user’s permitted Sabee scope to generate answers, summaries and proposed actions; processing is not limited to text manually entered into a prompt. Relevant records may concern attendance, schedules, reports, requests, incidents, finance, children, parents or staff. Director Brief sends aggregate numeric indicators to the external AI provider and keeps named supporting records in Sabee. Other AI paths filter common identifying fields and use temporary references where supported; this is not guaranteed anonymization. External AI processing may take place outside Kazakhstan as described in the Privacy Policy. Sabee AI’s proposed operational changes require explicit confirmation by an authorized user. Director Brief provides information and recommendations and does not independently execute operational actions.
11. Reviewing AI results and lawful use
AI results may contain errors, omissions, outdated information or incorrect interpretations. Users must check underlying records before acting on results that materially affect a child, parent, employee, payment or safety matter. AI results must not be the sole basis for decisions affecting health, safety, legal rights, employment, disciplinary measures, eligibility or other significant interests. Sabee and the organization each retain their applicable data-processing obligations. Users must not intentionally submit passwords, credentials, access keys, government secrets or personal information unrelated to the task. Accepting these Terms, including through continued use, does not constitute consent separately required for personal-data collection, processing or cross-border transfer.
12. AI enablement and required authorization
External AI processing requires the organization’s primary administrator to separately enable it, acknowledge the current disclosure and record a reference to documented lawful grounds and required consents. The organization retains the underlying evidence, including legal-representative consent where required. Sabee records the acting account, timestamp, disclosure text, version, evidence reference and subsequent changes. This declaration is not individual consent from parents or employees. The administrator must disable processing if the necessary grounds cease to apply. Disabling blocks subsequent provider requests, including queued imports and later steps of ongoing work; it cannot recall already transmitted data or automatically delete retained records. Re-enabling requires a new declaration; older queued imports must be submitted again. Sabee may restrict AI for legal, security or contractual reasons or when a required processing basis is absent. Data-rights requests and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy.
